• Store it safely

Store your jewellery in a jewellery box or in its original packaging to prevent it tangling and rubbing against other pieces. This will also help to protect it against sunlight and moisture which can lead to tarnishing.

• Clean and polish

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time and can appear to darken or look dirty. If this happens it is possible to bring back its natural shine by polishing it. A silver cloth, which is soft duster containing silver polish is recommended. When cleaning silver be careful not to spill cleaning products onto any stones or pearls as this may damage them beyond repair. Pearls and gemstones are particularly delicate and should be cleaned only with a soft cloth with no cleaning products or chemicals.

• Protect from cosmetics

Avoid contact with hairspray, perfume and moisturisers as this will damage the delicate surface of pearls and gemstones and affect the shine of silver.
